Spring clean your skin

With spring weather quickly approaching, it’s time to face that dreaded annual activity: spring cleaning your skin, follow theses steps:

  • Tip 1: Get a facial-it a good way to thorough clean the pores, soften and remove dry dead skin cells and will restore a radiant glow.

  • 2: Exfoliate -we've all had heavy creams to moisture our faces all winter long, but it’s time to get the excess out of your pores.

  • 3.Going from winter to spring, ur skin is a lot drier due to the lack of moisture. Treat yourself to a light peel or microdermabrasion,

  • 4. Spring clean your product cupboard, by tossing all the expired products and replace them with what you need, ask you therapist for advices

  • 5: Its time to abandon the heavy moisturizer and maybe even your gel cleanser, and switch to something lighter for the spring.

  • 6.Protect -It might be tempting to bask in the glow of the sun but it's crucial to protect yourself from the sun’s damaging rays

  • 7.Your skin craves good nutrition just like the rest of your body, so a good cleansing routine is important

  • 9. Eat lots of fruits, vegetables, lean protein, and whole grains for healthy skin.

  • 10. Exercise every day. Exercising helps your skin by increasing blood flow. And sweating flushes out dirt from your skin.

  • 11. Stay out of the sun. Get a fake tan if you want more color.

  • 14. Give your face a little more TLC - with home made masks -http://bodytiquetherapistthruths.blogspot.com/

  • 15. Don’t neglect your body during the transition as well - Enjoy a much needed mani and pedi at your salon.

  • 16. Don't forget to exfoliate the body to with a body scrub to make you feel like a whole new woman and get your skin glowing.

  • 17. Rehydrate your body skin by soaking in a warm bath of water to 2 tbsp of milk powder. Its the ultimate skin softener

    Detoxing your skin

After the festive season our skin takes a little bit of a betting, and yes it’s true that your skin, says much more about you than just how beautiful you are. Clear, radiant skin can be a sign of healthiness and a toxin-free body.
So I came up with 4 easy and not too costly skin-detox tips to help detox your skin. It is not a one-time thing, but instead we should adopt these tips as part of our habits. One should notice an improvement in your skin, just a week.
    1.      Flush Out the Toxins

Water is the key to detoxifying, and without enough water to help the body flush out the wastes, the body is basically like a pool of poisons, resulting in many kinds of skin problems. On should have 6 – 8 glasses of water a day.

    2.      Start Your Day with an Antioxidant Drink
A drink? Antioxidants are the knights in shining armour that defeat the attack of free radicals in the body, the harmful molecules that damage cells and procure aging and disease. Though antioxidants are produced naturally in the body, and decline with age, hence there is an increasing need to acquire them from the foods in our diet.
Thus are highly beneficial to the skin, as they help protect the skin from environmental damage and prevent premature aging. So have a berry drink either in morning or evening – berry drinks to have are:

Blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, blackberries, pears, cherries, pomegranates and plums.

     Berry juices

1.Put a cup of orange juice, 4 or more ice cubes into a blender. Add ripe or frozen berries of your choices.

2.Cover tightly and blend until fully blended. Check it after a few seconds. The consistency should be thick.

3.Pour into tall glasses, garnish with a whole berry floating on top,or for color.

4.Add a straw, whipped cream, and serve. But if you would like a healthier or simpler one don't use whip cream.

    3. Sweat it out

Exercise for at least 30 minutes every day, the main idea is to increase your blood circulation, relax your muscles and most importantly, get rid of excess toxins through sweating.

    4. Detoxifying Bath

Have a detox bath once a week to eliminate toxins and pamper your skin. Just add the following to warm bath water: ½ cup baking soda (to help neutralize the acids in the toxins).

    5. Detox facial mask

Your complexion needs the same attention as your body when it comes to toxins, by doing a mask every once in a while will help flush out the harmful agents from your pores with the help of these natural and soothing treatments.

First of all, cleanse your skin gently to prepare your pores for detoxification.
    Banana Detox Facial
    ·         Free your pores from the oil and dirty excess
    Method:
    ·         Mash a banana and mix it with 1 tsp of honey.
Apply the facial on your skin and make sure you leave out the area around the eyes. Leave the mask on for 10-15 minutes and finally rinse it off with lukewarm water.
    Parsley Detox Facial
    ·         Use this herb to create a cleansing treatment for your pores and help you flush out the toxins from the deeper skin layers

    Method:
    ·         Use the natural ingredient and chopped parsley (1tsp) into a cup of boiling water. Cover the bowl for 15 minutes, then strain the parsley.
    ·         Let the herbs cool down.

Apply the facial on your skin and make sure you leave out the area around the eyes. Leave the mask on for 10-15 minutes and finally rinse it off with lukewarm water.
