HOW TO WORK OUT YOUR SKIN TYPE !

1 How does your skin feel after it’s been cleansed?

a) Tight
b) slightly shiny
c) fine & smooth
d) slightly shinning on t-zone
e) red or blotchy

2 What does your skin look like without moisturiser?

a) dry & tight
b) oily
c) more or less normal
d) shiny on t-zone,normal on the cheeks
e) irritated

3 How visible are your pores?

a) nearly invisible
b) clearly visible
c) visible when close up
d) clearly visible on t-zone and visible when close up on cheeks
e) visible on whole face

4 Does what you eat and drink affect your skin?

a) Drinking caffine makes my skin feel drier
b) my skin feels oily when I eat fried foods
c) I can eat what I want without affecting my
skin
d) I get a breakout on my t-zone when I don’t eat enough fresh food
e) spicy food can inflame my skin

What products do I use?

In our previous news letter we explained the skin care routine and products for oily/problem and dry/sensitive skin.

Normal skin

If you have normal skin then your one of the lucky ones, because it is by far the least common skin type and one can use just about anything.
Cleanser: Milk or lotion cleanser as this will help to keep the skin balanced.
Toner: rose water or a refreshing toner to help wake up the skin.
Moistures: Use a light to medium cream.
Exfoliate : you can have your choice here. One can use a chemical ( fruity acids) or a mechanical ( granuals) exfoliater.
Masks: Light creamy mask to maintain your balance.

SPF: fluid or cream which ever you find your skin is more comfortable with.

Combination skin

Has two different types of skin on one face, and its best to treat them individualy.
Cleanser: The easist way to cleans is to pick a cream cleanser or a cleanser that a light gel.
Toner: Rose water with adash of ti tree in it.
Moistures: light fluid or cream.
Exfoliate: Chemical exfoliate.
Mask:fruity mask will work, however you should use a cream mask on the dry areas and a clay mask on your oily areas.
SPF: fluid is best not to over stimulate.
