MANSCAPING

The New Male Grooming Obsession
According to a survey, 95 percent of young guys now manscape — as in trim, shave, or wax their body hair.

Today, men and women around the world embrace grooming as an essential part of their everyday routines. Once an activity limited to the daily morning shave of the face, grooming is now about the whole body from head to toe.

At Bodytique we offer both manscaping and faux-natural look for chest , back ,legs, arms and face.

Most of you are probably wondering what I’m going on about so here are the two terms defend:

- Manscaping – is the total removal of hair
- Faux-natural look - hair to make things neat but don't want it to be super obvious that I manscape

Excess back hair is the most difficult type of body hair to remove. Because of the location of back hair, and the fact that it is very difficult to reach it is impossible for any man to remove the excess fuzz and fur by himself. Removing the excess back hair can be done using any of the normal hair removal techniques, such as shaving or waxing.

Shaving treatment can be either mansacping or faux natural (number 1 -4), were as waxing is 100% manscaping.

So why manscape: Men seek out body grooming and skin care services for a number of reasons:
• Corporate employment and career advancement
• Pride in personal appearance
• Social motivations or dating aspirations
• Cooling off in hot weather
• Musculature enhancement
• Hair removal for reduction in wind and water resistance (athletes)
• Interest in current societal trends and fashions
Types of manscaping offered :

Facial hair :
Lip, cheek, chin ,ears and nose

Eyebrows - Eyebrow waxing is becoming a highly popular procedure for men looking for a neater brow appearance

Body hair :
Back, shoulders - is out and has got to go, so guys, if you want your girl to want to be seen with you walking along the beach, you best remove or thin out the back hair.

Stomach and chest – this is debatable and is a preferences thing however man sweaters are out at the moment. So Guys too much hair is out but don't think you have to be a body builder with a smooth oily chest.

Arm pits , arms and hands, Legs and feet

These’s are all personal choices and are done
Mainly by athletes.

So don’t be ashamed or embarrassed to manscaping think of it this way--the word manscaping comes from combining man and landscaping. When considering your manscaping options look at is as landscaping yourself!

Why not tone your face!

CACI uses a Micro –current stimulation to achieve its result. A Micro-current stimulation delivers tiny electrical impulses that mirror the body’s own natural bio electrical field. In most cases, treatment is virtually sub- sensory, with just a slight electrical tingling sensation.

Originally developed for treating facial palsy Micro-current therapy is now also used widely in physiotherapy for pain control and in hospitals for wound healing. As an aesthetic treatment micro-current stimulation has been shown to have a number of other cosmetic benefits:
• re-educates muscles,
• increases blood and lymph circulation ,
• enhances the penetration of the active ingredients of skin care formulations
• increases the production of collagen and elastin
• increases protein synthesis, gluconeogenesis and cell membrane transport
• increases mitochondria activity , adenosine triphosphate (ATP)
Microcurrent in aesthetics is commonly described as “facial toning or non surgical face lifting” due to the dramatic lifting effect that micro-current has on facial muscles and facial contours.
True micro-current uses a current with an intensity of less than one millionth of an amp (< 1mA) and because of its low intensity it does not cause a physical or visual contraction of the muscle, instead, micro-current stimulation works by a process called muscle re-education.

In the 1960’s Drs S. Baker and S. Doyle demonstrated that effective and long term muscle re-education could only be achieved using micro-current if ultra low frequencies (less than 1 Hertz) were used.
During treatment all 32 facial muscles are physically manipulated using soft cotton tipped wands (probes) or other attachments that transmit the micro-current impulses.

Working a muscle from belly outward will have a lengthening/relaxing effect that is necessary on muscles that have become contracted over years of facial expression ( eg frown lines ). Working a muscle from the origin and insertion point inward will have a shortening effect that is necessary for the majority of the muscles that have become elongated over time due to age and gravity.

Although a remarkable difference is seen after the first treatment, the benefits of micro-current are cumulative and typically a course of 12 treatments will be required for optimum results.
